MANNA began as Matt and Jenna, two Catholic best friends, ministers, speakers and worship leaders seeking to encourage and inspire others to grow in their relationship with Christ and live out their Catholic faith. Matt continues to write and podcast, hoping to provide a source of joy and nourishment for you through weekly Psalm reflections and the podcast: "Manna - Food For Thought.”
Matt Zemanek
Matt Zemanek is a passionate Catholic, husband, father, evangelist, speaker, podcaster, author, worship leader and ministry coach. Originally a mountain man from Lake Arrowhead, Matt left a life of bear-riding, log-hurling and competitive beard-growing to live in Aliso Viejo, CA, with his beautiful wife, Erika, and their two children, Hannah & Levi. After short-lived careers as a chef in fine dining and as a composer, God called Matt to full-time ministry. Matt has a Master's Degree in Pastoral Theology from Loyola Marymount University and has been serving in ministry since 2005. He currently serves as the Director of Adult Evangelization & Faith Formation at Saint Timothy in Laguna Niguel, CA. He is the host of the MANNA - Food For Thought Podcast, and a member of the worship band Valleys & Crowns. He enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, brain-teasers, riddles, escape rooms, and drinking iced tea.
